KidStuf – Easter

There’s an APP for that!
Posted by: | CommentsGood news! The developers of the curriculum that we use in UpStreet and KidStuf have developed an app for parents that ties in with what we teach each week! How awesome is that?!?! It’s still in the 1.0 developing stage, but man-o-man, I’m excited about this app!
Just search for PARENT CUE for your Apple or Droid device.
Here’s the description from the developer.
About Parent Cue
Our lives are busy. As parents, we want to prioritize our children. We want to do everything we can to invest in them relationally, to guide them developmentally and to help them grow in their faith in Christ. But it’s just so easy to get caught up in the urgent day-to-day business of life.
This Parent Cue app provides you with simple CUES throughout the week that remind you to pause and make the most of everyday moments.
Every month, Parent Cue will focus on one specific virtue, or life application. You will receive prompts for videos, activities, discussion questions and more that will help you connect with your child around this one key virtue. These prompts will come in the form of DriveTime, HangTime, and BedTime, to help you fit them into the day-to-day moments of your routine. There’s even a section just for you called ParentTime that’s filled with parent blogs, podcasts and more.
To make the most of the Parent Cue app, leave your push notifications on, and you will get daily prompts. Or, set up a time when you can open the app on a regular basis to take advantage of the consistently updated content.
* Parent Cue is part of the Orange strategy and aligns with 252 Basics. If your church uses 252 Basics curriculum, this is just one more way to apply what your child is learning every Sunday at Church.

Posted by: | CommentsKidJam is just two days away and I have TOTALLY forgotten about posting about it! (mild slap of my wrists here).
KidJam is going to be SO EXCITING. And, it’s going to be different than it ever has been, with even MORE audience participation. Songs, games, activities, KidJam is going to be a fun-filled hour on Wednesday evening.
And through all the games and activities, we will be learning about COURAGE – being brave enough to do what you should do, even if you’re afraid.
