Elementary Age

Our elementary ministries, UpStreet and KidStuf, focus on one BIG IDEA (Biblical virtue)each month and focuss on one particular Bible point each week. This main focus each week is modeled and taught by actors, storytellers, hosts and small group leaders throughout the morning by various means which are often crazy, but are always memorable.

UpStreet is our Small Group ministry at 9:00am.
KidStuf is a time when kids bring their parents to worship and learn at 10:30am.

We believe that parents are ultimately responsible for the spiritual development of their children (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). We also recognize that parents have a whole lot more time with their kids than anyone at church. In fact, each year kids spend about 3,000 hours with their parents versus the 40 or so that they will spend attending church on Sunday. As a result, no one has more influence over a child than his or her parent. Because of this, we believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. We believe that it is our role to partner with parents by providing a plan that will give them the tools they need to lead their kids spiritually.

In March, our BIG IDEA is HONESTY.

Here’s our monthly activity for kids.

Here’s a great video overview for parents that was produced by the supplier of our curriculum for this month.
